Our corn seed business, as one of the three key businesses, follows a market-oriented R&D approach. New varieties are developed through self breeding and cooperation. In an effort to promote R&D, we have strengthened R&D team building, and have cooperated with several seed breeding institutes both home and abroad. Corn research centers have been set up in Beijing, Hebei Province and Liaoning Province, developing dozens of high-quality corn varieties suitable for major corn planting areas in China.

Using the seed production model of "Company + Production Base + Farmer", CNSGC has established corn seed production bases in Zhangye and Linze of Gansu Province and Xinjiang Autonomous Region which enjoy the best natural conditions for corn seed production. Supporting corn seed processing facilities, storage and logistics centers have been set up in Chengde of Hebei Province, Zhangye and Linze of Gansu Province and Changji of Xinjiang Autonomous Region.
