Hosted by the International Seed Federation (ISF), 2010 World Seed Conference was held during May 31st to June 2ed in Calgary, Canada. The delegation from China Seed Group Corporation included: Zhang Zhiyin, vice president of Sinochem and chairman of China Seed Trade Association; Zhang Wei, assistant president of Sinochem and general manager of Sinoseeds; Liu Hang, general agronomist of Sinoseeds, vice chairman and secretary-general of China Seed Trade Association; etc. This conference attracted more than a thousand delegates from governments, experts, associations and seed companies in fifty seven countries.
As a permanent member of ISF, Zhang Zhiyin released complete information about the preparation and arrangement of 2014 World Seed Conference, which will be held in China and vote on various important issues presented by the council of ISF.
During the conference, the delegation from Sinoseeds had in-depth discussion with a number of organizations on the issue of establishing an international platform for communicating and sharing information. Meanwhile, cooperation intentions were achieved with more than eighty seed companies from twenty different territories in the aspects of scientific research cooperation, product and market development, etc. |
